Liquid crystal tunable filter (LCTF) is an optical filter designed based on the birefringence effect of liquid crystal molecules and the interference principle of polarized light. The tunable filter adopts the self-designed and processed high-precision liquid crystal phase delay chip and cascade combination structure, uses the automatic calibration and correction system for high-precision calibration, connects to the computer through the USB interface, inputs the required wavelength and other parameters on the supporting software operation interface, and realizes the flexible narrow-band filtering function for the incident light. The product has the ability of adaptive temperature compensation. The calibration database can also be used to correct the spectral drift caused by the angle change of the field of view, to meet the imaging needs of large field of view. It can be combined with imaging lens and image sensor (CMOS / InGaAs, etc.) to form a compact hyperspectral imaging system.
